Thinking about buying THIS KIT from Import Shark just because I want red to match my car. Ive heard you can make angel eye kits for around $40 so paying $190 is a little crazy. What does HA think? Worth it not save money and make my own kit?

 

I don't know about Denton, TX, but here in Vegas, if you have ANY red lights on the front of your car, you'll get your sh*t impounded.

 

What cobra said. But hell yeah man, DIY all the way. It's easy stuff to pull apart a headlight.

 

Unless your name starts with "Officer" and there are also blue lights involved, you are going to be breaking the law with red lights illuminated on the front of your car on the street in Texas. Now if you are thinking about Hot Import Nights that might be different.
