Default New Tires

Hi, I just bought a 2013 Hyundai Veloster Turbo, and I need some new tires and wheels on it. Are there any suggestions for me? I have the Ironman Silver paint color on my car, and I live in Montana, so I need tires that are able to handle snow.

I don't really have anywhere to put summer tires at the moment, so I'm hoping I can get away with all-weather tires. Has anyone else put all-weather tires on their Veloster, and how did it handle?

When looking at new wheels/rims, is the 18" the best option? I've seen some 19" and 17" wheels that I like, but I'm not sure how the car will react to those, and if my car has the capabilities for those different sized rims.

The V will handle 17s well, especially if you're using them for winter driving. I use 17s on my RSpec in the winter. The tires are less expensive, and you can get studded snows since the profile is taller. I live in Colorado and can run studs. Best tires I've had over the years have been Cooper studded snows. Better than Ipikes IMO. If you can afford them, Nokian studded snows are great as well.

Good luck and safe travels!
