Getting my car next week sometime!!!
Well, my impatience and constant stalking of what was being shipped from port FINALLY paid off!!
There are still ZERO VTurbo's coming to New Mexico but I found out 2 days ago there was one coming to a Denver, CO dealer. Yeah, it was a bit far (430 miles) but if I could get it for the right price it would be worth it.
Fast forward to today, my purchase agreement should be here today with all the final numbers.
I 'got' (as long as they haven't been lying) the car for 25,420$.. MSRP is about 25,500$. It isn't much under MSRP but it is also not over MSRP, which makes me happy!!!
The dealer in Santa Fe, NM was going to be charging 1500$ OVER MSRP and the two ABQ dealers were wanting to charge 3000-4000$ OVER MSRP.
Nothing is final yet, but my Credit Union had sent over my pre-approval for the loan and the General Manager said that they could meet the number in the pre-approval with the trade and everything. They ended up giving me what I think is a very fair price for the Jeep, considering they have only seen pictures and had my 'word' on what condition things were in.
As I said, papers are coming today for me to sign and then it will be mine!!! Car is shown to arrive sometime around July 25th and I should be able to pick it up on the 28th. This would make me the 4th or 5th VTurbo owner in the US
As soon as I sign the papers, suspension, wheels and HIDs will be on order... no sense in waiting to mod, right
Here is pretty much the exact car I will be getting:
I did a chop of all the colors for fun and here is kind of what I am hoping to do with it. The rims pictured are the exact rims I will be getting, but they aren't flat black.
Here are the actual wheels:

o sh*t, I totally forgot.. i know, bad customer service
I can either buy yours back for the price I sold it to you for, or send you a new BOV for free. Apparently some of the gen coupe guys have issues with that BOV and most of them do not. I couldn't get a clear answer on what might be the reason for it acting up.
PM me with what you want to do.

Oh man. I'm happy for ya dude, what a great piece of korean machinery. I love the freshly released cars... it feels so much more authentic or something.
Pics or super duper ban when it arrives. Dark/cameraphone/blurry pictures do NOT count.
