Getting ready to build an enclosure. This will be my first time building one with ports. Im installing 2 Rockford Fosgate 10" P3's in the Veloster. RF says they'll handle 500w (rms) or a 1000w (peak) a piece. Im going to feed the pair 800. My question is should I subtract the volume of the slot ports from the internal volume of the box? and if so should I subtract just the volume of the wood or the wood and the space inside? Is there a best location to place the ports? Im thinking that the ports will be on the same side as the subs but sides, middle, top bottom?
