I parked under a tree the other night and when I came out there was a bunch of tree sap all over the roof of my car. I tried taking it through a car wash and it's still stuck to the paint. I'm afraid if I pick at it or use a pressure washer, it'll rip the paint off too. Does anyone know of something I can use that will dissolve the sap without ruining the paint or am I SOL?

 

Get some goo gone or a citrus based solvent. There are products out there that are safe on paint and will remove the sap.
