This guy doesn't know the turbo version is coming out. NO mention of that. This guy is really clueless about that. He and the readers are in for a surprise...
I agree with him on the three doors being absurd. If a fourth door fits, put it in. It's dumb to leave it out. They did it so the buyer "thinks" his car looks cool getting in? It probably appeals to their target audience, but it sounds like the buyer is a fool. With a fourth door, who knows how many more people would have considered buying it.

Remember, the driver's side door is longer, making getting in easier for the only person that really matters, the driver. If it was a 4 door, driver's access would be more cramped.
The power to weight ratio is as good as a RD Tiburon, better than a 2.0l GK. If it's actually slow, it is probably a gearing issue. Either way, they're failing by not announcing the turbo version officially. People are going to get a sour taste in their mouth over the Veloster and it will be hard to recover perception even though it should be pretty quick with the turbo.

that's pretty cool that the driver's door is longer. that personally wouldn't agree with my head.
i think they always find stuff to complain about. in the Tiburon it was lack of headroom in the backseat. they fix that and whoa new problem. i wonder what they will complain about with the turbo!

IMO the 3 door thing isn't really an issue. How often do you carry 4 people in your car? I don't think too many 4 person families are going to buy this car. It was designed for the 20 - 30 year old crowd with no kids (I just passed that phase in life). I own a 2 door accent, if someone is getting into the back seat I get them to enter on the passenger side anyway so I don't mess up my seat position.

I like the veloster, but you can't exactly sit back and ignore a bad review. I don't think this review was very objective though, the tone was quite negative throughout the whole piece.
