^fully agree. That's probably why the carbon fiber was added (probably more aesthetically to indicate weight loss rather than provide it) and why it was canned. lol where else would I find stuff like this, ebay! This is my juice, the closest thing I have to the real thing! One can dream...
They could however take some advice from the Merceds SLK. 3000lb's hardtop. I'm sure Hyundai could shed some 200-250lbs, possibly 300 if they really tried and excluded some interior options.
I hear the price of this Veloster would be somewhere around $26 grand. Still a good deal but that's fairly expensive for a topless toy box.

From what I know, there are something like 3 test cars that were actually produced. One of them was in a Korean movie.
