www.arkspeedracing.com - ARK PERFORMANCE
yes I agree with tibwrc that Blacktibs you should have made that post and a little more arguement behind your post in the moderator's forum and not try to kill this guy's rep before he even gets one. I've been around for 2 years now and this thread is the first time i've heard of ARK. For us who have been around for awhile we should know better that to bash someone because there was a time when we had no aftermarket or a very little one. The more aftermarket for us the better. If ARK proves in the future to be unreliable or shady then we should deal with it as moderators and the admins im sure would do their part as well...... Lets do this right and in the professional manner, in our private forum because thats what its for.
Also try not to hammer the newbs for double posting, its really not all that bad. Annoying maybe a little but I dont this to become another HP.com where the mods are nazi's and no one can talk about anything other than the businesses the admins/mods are in cooperation with. This is an open/non-profit forum and should be treated as such

I personally think that you guys (moderators, admins or whatever you call yourselves) are WAY too much touchy about the "cleanliness" of the forum and your roles as moderators. I'm not talking about just the moderators themselves, what's really annoying me, I think, are the "users" who says on every thread "don't double post" or "ask a mod to do that" or "learn to search" or whatever. If you don't want a DISCUSSION forum, use a Wiki or a knowledge database or something. Don't turn evil.gif when someone post something that has already been discussed or when a "newbie" makes what you consider "errors". If what you want is something 100% "clean", then you do NOT want a forum.
I've seen more than my share of forums that eventually died simply because almost every possible subject has been discussed, so the guys were always saying "it's been discussed; do a search". It kills the fun of the forum and prevents some "freshness" of the threads wink1.gif
And if you don't think like me, well, you suck! Heh, j/k.

I absolutely agreed with what DWEET said.
There are too many automotive forums, but it is hard to find qualified moderators.
I believe that the purpose of this forum "RDTiburon.com" is to share information about HY Tiburon and share tips and knowledge on it.
This thread started with some good information as a customer.
ARK was new to me. Just visited its web site and its just regular shop to me.
But I do not know why this thread became a hot potato in this forum.
Reviewing a product is good, but the review must be responsible and it must be from user experience.
I hope this forum is ruled by user not by merchants or merchant-hired ppl.

i duno i think people should search before asking questions. that's how the good ones come up. it's the same thing as looking for something from a dictionary. it's not proper for people to do the work for you. it's better off if you do the reaserch that is available to you because the work has already been done--it's just a matter of locating it. if people cannot find things, than they can say so.
also, like my cannister. i didn't know what the heck it was or what they called it, or what it was there for... so i had to make a new thread about it and got all of the support from this website. but my AEM intake? i did not post one single thread about that because i already knew that those three letters by themselves MUST be popular in this forum. so i did a search and found some old threads on how good it was and how to install the bypass valves from threads going a few months back! no troubling people and just a few clicks away.
i'm glad we have moderators... and double posting gets old because someone could just edit their other post. java needs to create an anti-DP feature so people could not have the option of posting until someone else has replied. that's just my opinion.
back on topic: i'm really confused about the exhaust. put an SH in front of ARK and we might have something to think about. afterall, sharkracing sponsored a few shows too. i don't know. i'm not jumping in to conclusions. all i know that Jaws021 is right about the bolt on exhaust and the pricing. the GK catback exhausts should NOT by all means cost more than ours period. i'm waiting to do some more research before i purchase an exhaust. i don't want to buy one too soon and realize there are problems with fitment which would result in spending hundreds of more dollars; then, i would find out i spent $500 for headers and $800 for cat-back, which in total equals to $1200 to which for the same price I could get a Speed-Factor turbo kit w/ turbo manifold and it would be 10 times the better solution and more than double the power.

Partially my fault I looked at the posts and thought like the moderator I am not. I just can't trust bad spelling and grammar tongue.gif
hey guys...those who visit the nt forums know me as kikassboy
anyways...i'm truly sorry taht this thread became what it has become. i'd rather that it never had this sort of problem.
all differences aside, we are more concentrated on the gk as you can see in our website, but we want to start providing items for teh rd. this will take some time, as we need to do the rsearch adn development. but i'm confident that we will be able to provide teh best quality possible. Read any review on our gk exhausts and you'll see why we are so confident of great quality.
a group buy on exhausts is definitely possible. we will post here when that happens
every member here is entitled to their own opinion. but please do not post unfounded rumors (if they are true, please IM, PM, or email me with details, and we will sort it out).
also we are NOT sharkracing. sure, put an SH in front of ark, and you get shark. same thing as saying put a micro before soft and you get microsoft...just so happens that the english language forms words like that. we have yet to disappoint anyone on the nt forums yet with delivery time nor quality. if there was a question, either me or ted sought to help out as soon as possible.
if anyone wanted to see our products, we don't have a problem with anyone stopping by the warehouse to see the products first hand.
again, sorry about the arguments above me, and sorry for this long post. hopefully we can earn your respect and your business.

New here... ahh well my first post will be vouching for ARK tongue.gif I've seen/heard the ARK Exhaust on the GKs, and it is fairly good quality. They have a good record on shipping and such as well tongue.gif Definitely no SR/TSR/etc.
I'm angry at myself for literally being agitated and getting a 2.5 inch press bent exhaust for $285.00 literally days before all this Mussa and ARK attention. I love the exhaust I have now though anyway smile.gif

oops.gif sharkracing prices are very high (i think because of shipping) and it's hard to support them for that matter. another issue with them is they take regular products, slap a tag on them, and sell it for higher. that's our issue with them.
with all respects, i think it's great to have another korean-based supporter going from GK to RD. it's a bold move. i don't know about rumors or stories. it might have been a misunderstanding of some sort between a sales rep. and customer. all i know is that we need reviews.
ARK, this topic is just covering and resolving some issues. we are likely in need of a good exhaust. we need all of the info we can get. of course, we can work something out. i think that some of us here are just taming down and getting used to a new product line, that's all. tongue.gif it's great of you to post here and inform us--and keep informing us!
on a personal basis, i'm mixed up right now. i don't know if i solely should wait for speed-factor to come up with something, wait for possible ARK GB, or a GB that's going on right now from another manufacturer? All I know is I need a catback system soon. I'm a potential buyer, but just trying to research some more. and with your help, we can all begin to breathe right!
