who does the head work for ya??? is it an over seas deal??? asking cause i heard that HVE is just about the only ppl who know how to do a P&P job on a beta head.

 

I have a contact inside Saleen, this being the same Saleen that does work on Ford Mustangs. HVE might know what they're doing, but shipping in and out of Australia is a considerable wait. I only needed the ports enlarged, textured correctly and the combustion bowls cleaned up.

Red, 3000 is still a good bit less than the RPW motor, since it needs to be shipped from OZ. I do think you are right about the "why buy it if I can build it" philosophy, but then again, it saves me the headache, lol.
