Default 6 speed/ V6 package

is it possible to buy the engine and tranny for the 2003 tib and have it installed on a 2001 tib. If so how much do you think that would cost and in your opinion is it worth it.

Lets put it this way...it will not bolt right up perfectly...so if you have enough money, anything is possible. *lol* Just be ready to shell out LOTS of it. eek.gif

the 2003 tiburon has the same front end frame/subframe as the 2001 elantra. MUCH different than the front end frame/subrame of the 2001 Tiburon.

It WOULD be possible, but VERY expensive to do so.

I'm thinking it would be somewhat easy to do in a 2001 Elantra, but darn near impossible to do in a 2001 Tiburon.
