Dude, seriously, strap that dude into a 300whp tiburon and ask him whats up. He wont know the diff. LOL. Really, how could you complain about an unachivable goal not being met, and still be left with a 300whp monster?

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Braker @ Mar 23 2006, 10:52 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Nitrous is another story... they will use the nitrous but they want 400 whp plus 100 hp shot of nitrous.
Can you explain me about the tranny ? I guess you mean we should buy this: http://www.kspec.com/list.php?ac_id=85&ai_id=905</div>
that would help
the only way is to cheat with nitrous..
Its the cheap alternative..
Just make sure the tuner knows what hes doing..

Vehicle: 2000/Hyundai/Tiburon
Well, that's a different story then. Sounds like he doesn't want one of the worlds fastest tibs. He wants the best of EVERYTHING and it would cost a lot more money than that to get it. $12,000 could build a 400+whp car. It will NOT build a 400+whp car AND buy rims, body kit, paint, etc. It may be best to convince the guy to be happy with 300+whp and use the rest of the money to build a show car. That's my goal. An overall well balanced vehicle. Not to mention.... 18 inch rims on a high HP car? That's too heavy. Show good, race bad.

12k, if everything is priced close to how it is here WILL NOT get him anywhere near 400whp if hes getting body kit (850-1500) paint (1000-2000) rims 18s w/ tires (1000) coilovers real or fake (200-1500) brakes if Big brake kit for front (1500ish) system with radio (1000ish) that leaves you with 3500-6450 not including labor, CF parts, tinting, interior work, or any performance mods..
with 6450 you would not be able to build a reliable 400whp turbo setup. parts alone for everything would be around that.
RED, i didnt mean thin like OBX manifold, but its a thinner steel that what t4turbo tib and tim use..

The majority of tuning parts here in Greece are more expencive than the US. That’s why I always buy stuff from K-Spec, e-Bay.. etc..
@ Blacktibs I think Ill do that… because I belive that he does not knows what 300 hp (at front wheels) mean…
@ Jaws021 we will use nitrous.
@ 01importshark & purpletib
I think that its better for us to convince him that 300 hp is perfect rather to create a 400 hp tib and after 2-3 weeks to have problems.
The other solution is to convince him to spend more money... cool.gif

Here is the Tib
So far we have installed the brakes from US (wilwood forged superlite 4 piston calipers with 330mm x 28 rotors) 18" rims with 235/40/18 tires at the front and 255/35/18 tires at the rear (the rims and tires of course are from the Greek market).
The guy who will create the wide body kit have cut part of the fenders.
Here is the exhaust manifold from K-Spec
Pauter rods from US
Garrett GT3071R Turbocharger (the owner of the Tiburon had it)

I know its wrong but owner wants the car as a demo for his shop. I told him that everyone will laugh with 255 at rear but doe's not care...
Considering thought to make it RWD.
