Worlds Fastest Tiburons

As far as I know the worlds fastest Tiburon is from Australia and it has a 2.0L Turbocharged engine. It produces 900hp and weights only 900 kg

At 2nd place is the well know McIntire Tiburon with the 650 hp and two 2.0L Turbocahrged Engines.

Which one is in 3rd place ?

An 400whp Tiburon in which place in the world ranking should be ??? because we already trying to create it…

We have a 2.0L engine and we will install the follow parts in it:

Garrett GT3071R Turbocharger
Turbo Manifold Type 2 from K-Spec
Evo 8 intercooler
Tial 45mm external westgate
590cc fuel injectors from K-Spec
Walbro 255 fuel pump.
65mm throttle body from K-Spec
custom intake manifold
Intake and exhaust cam Sprockets from K-Spec
Underdrive Pulley from K-Spec
262 degrees intake and exhaust cams
forged pistons
pauter rods
polished valves
customized ECU program on the dyno
customized clutch

will the Tiburon reach 400 whp ?

No... sorry....

Youll have a very nice setup though...

But no.. you wont reach 400whp with that.

Also to note.. we have seen more then a couple of dynos and vids of 400whp+ tiburons in korea.

its all about boost and tuning, and youll need a standalone for those numbers. im assuming the forged pistons will be 8.5:1? also injectors might need an upgrade. go for broke and get the 1000cc.

I'd consider the 282 cams also if you are trying for really high hp. Maybe custom titanium valves and springs too.

What did you do to the tranny?

What's this custom clutch you speak of?

Do the polished valves come with a ported head?

We will use the transimiton from a 1.6L tiburon whitch is shorter. My mechanic says that there is a guy here in Athens that can creaty any type of clutch you want.. I'am curious to see it..

and of course all the project will be photographed by me. I will also get some videos when the tiburon goes on the dyno.

please explain me the ported head... my english are not that good.

The car is not mine. The guy who has it owns the biggest company with used parts for Hyudnai cars in Greece and he wants the Tiburon for a demo car (not with spare parts).

My mechanic who will create the car claims that with the specific setup will reach 400 whp.

My part in the project is to collect all the items they need from the list they have. I told them that the car will not reach more than 300 whp.

Also at the specs add a wrt oil ctach tank and an oil cooler

I'd say you would need T3/T4 or just a T4 turbo.
