Okay, I'd been calling around every exhaust shop I could find and I got a few quotes, a few bad, a few rediculous, and a few, well, pretty damned good.

First off...

Midas = f*** THEM.

Mieneke = No longer does mandrel bends. Exhaust fully installed for $425 plus tax. Only following the OEM exhaust.

Exhaust shop 3 = $400 for everything. 2.5 inch press bent, 20 inch resonator, Magnaflow Muffler, tip of choice, over or under axel.

Exhaust shop 4 = $250, I supply my own muffler and tip. 2.5 inch Mandrel bends, under or over axle. Can do press bent for a bit cheaper. Aluminumized pipe. (NINJAR EDIT!) - ALSO WITH A 24 INCH RESONATOR!
^^^
Exhaust shop #4 is the best exhaust place in NM, they are recommended by EVERYONE here and they do custom headers too. This guy LOVES the Tiburon, he knew what my car was, before he was within 30 feet of it, from the front. "Hey, a second gen Tiburon, I love these things. 2000 or 2001?"

Anyways, he's agreed to make these for folks as they need on the site. SO, after mine is done, installed, and pics are up, I will be offering a service to get custom exhausts made for your RD, that will bolt right up to a 2001 RD2, made to your order. All you have to do is buy the muffler you want (unless you want me to do it for you), and the tip, and have them shipped direct to me. I'll get your exhaust made and ship it to you, it should cost right at about $350 shipped, maybe a bit more, maybe a bit less.

Anyways, thought you guys and gals would like to know.

Great news Redzman. I'll be looking into this. I want to upgrade from a 2.25" to a 2.5" under axel, great price too. fing02.gif

you should probably get a thrush resonator on that exhaust too dude. it will be pretty loud if you only have a muffler.

I thought I posted that up there? That's WITH a 24 inch resonator.

Midas = $89 an hour for welding alone. Then parts, labor, and they don't do mandrel or pressbent as far as I know. So you end up with almost $250 in just welding labor charges.

But of course. I think I said that at the top.

so maybe im stupid, but what is the benefit of going under axel, instead of fallowing the stock exhaust?

And I also thought 2.5inch was mostly just for boosted tibs? again, maybe I'm just stupid
