Default Wing or wingless tiburon?

Debating if I want to remove my spoiler. I have the stock high wing on my GK. Some GK's look ok without a wing if they have a kit or lip to add onto the bottom of the rear. But my car doesnt have a bodykit or lips or anything. Just a drop, and rims. Wanted to keep it somewhat of a sleeper look since its boosted.

If I remove the wing, then I'll have the stupid holes still in my hatch and I dont plan on doing any body work on the car for awhile. So I would have to get plugs or stickers to cover the holes and not sure if that would look good either.

Need some advice HA so help a brotha out! laugh.gif help.gif

i think the 03+ tiburons look best with the high rise GT spoilers. there's one on my campus that is spoilerless. it looks okay, classy, but it just looks better with it on.

Yeah I agree with HKC, the SE spoiler looks the best. I plan on getting rid of my low spoiler to get the high one. I never liked the look of a spoilerless tib, just looks weird to me.

I also prefer the high spoiler to the low spoiler or wingless. Especially if wingless means you'll have stupid looking plugs filling the holes.

funny how trends are. most people like the RD1 and the RD2 to have spoilerless. you go to NT.com, the rule of thumb for the GK models is low spoiler. here the GK is high spoiler.

I spoilerless on my RD2 and wouldnt go back, needless weight and i have a typeR wing sitting right next to me.

What the hell? That's so peculiar. The wing is obviously cooler than wingless on most of them. No wonder they're f up.

I think the RD1 and 2 look good spoilerless. some argue they look like a jellybean! Personally, i think the curves remind me of the classy legendary cars from the 1960's. The Karmann-Ghia:

the Ferrari Dino:

Not a bad comparison if you ask me.

i think the RD1 looks terrible spoilerless

RD2 looks AMAZING spoilerless

not a fan of spoilerless GKs really, unless they have something to lower the rear profile of the bumper.

if you decide to go spoilerless and your tib is a dark color, the black plugs will look fine and you wont need to do any body work. or you can paint the plugs to match better.

Personal preference is to keep the stock spoiler. Otherwise it looks like thos dogs without tails and that just ain't natural!
