Alright guys so for a while now I was hearing the motor hit the firewall and finally decided to take care of it. Seeing how I am nearly broke and have heard good things about window welding the mounts I decided to go ahead and give it a shot!
I didn't get to take pictures because I was concentrating mainly on getting the window weld of my hands (wear gloves!!!!!!). My rear roll stop had a crack down the middle, so both mounts got filled. Tomorrow I'm going down to track and shall have a full report on this.
Do you guys have any input on this?

i had a solid rear mount, and a front mount filled in with window weld.. when i only had the solid rear, the engine still rotated a bit forward (much better than stock, just still a bit of rotation) when i filled the front one, it was a lot more solid.
id recommend it. i know you already did these, but the key is doing it properly, and not all at once, otherwise it wont cure right, and probably end up falling out from the movement.

Well we finished at about 8pm and I'm not driving the car till I leave for the track at about 4pm tomorrow... so these should have more than enough time to cure.

I did mine all at once I even took out the removable rubber piece in the front and totally filled it and it's lasted for a long time. Maybe 10-20 thousand so far?

lol. I did the opposite. I drilled out my motor mounts and installed an engine damper. it works better, seems to have less shock but eliminates the hop.
To me it makes more sense to stop the roll in 3 places rather then just make 2 harder.

word, I still recommend the dampers to anyone. The entire top of the engine is not supported without them. It seems kinda weird to me to just support the bottom more stiffly.
BTW.. alot of engine roll comes from the 2 main motor mounts on the sides. They really change the way the car feels when they are new.

Well I tested them out and I was very impressed. I do have more vibration but the trade off is worth it!! The car just felt a whole lot better to drive.... much more enjoyable!
