Rims Specs: 17x9 +30
Tire specs: 255/40/17
Suspension specs: Eibach drop
Will they stick out past the fenders and look really stupid?

17x9 rims equals 225? in tyre width doesn't it? If it does the your tyres are 30mm (an inch is 25mm) wider than your rims. Just a thought and I could be wrong.

On my supra i am running a 255 on a 8" rim! 255 would be very square on 9" rim, but there is no way a 255 will tuck under a Tib fender with a 9" wheel and -30. You can run the rim but you will be flush, you would need to have a slight strech to the tire. like 225, maybe a 215...
