Default Will 2003 or newer Tiburon seats and brackets fit in a 2000-01 Tiburon?

Hey my stock leather seats from my 2000 Tiburon are very worn and I would like to replace them. If I were to go to a junkyard or find a 2003 or newer Tiburon parts car, would those seats and assemblies fit in my car? Also when removing the stock seats and brackets from my 2000 Tiburon do I just remove the four corner bolts or is there more to it? Thanks in advance!

4 bolts, you'll have to make new brackets to mount different seats,I have rsx seats mounted as low as possible and its 4 inches higher than stock, only issue with mine is they hit the sunvisor when moving the seat up to get in back.I also asked this question about gk seats, but never got real answer.

I was able to fit GK seats into my 02 Accent with some homemade brackets and it was a pain, only one bolt located into an original hole. Looking at that pic Regit supplied you have alot better chance of a direct bolt in then I did.

I have GK in my X3, I don't know the correct word to explain how I did it, but all I used was a drill and bolt...

Guys you are over thinking this. The seat brackets bolt to the floor. There are 4 bolt holes in the car. You do whatever you need to do with drilling, cutting, welding, bending, or otherwise working with the metal on your seat brackets so they line up with the holes on the floor. The exact steps will vary from bracket to bracket.

if i were you i would just buy them take them home see if they fit straight up, if the dont line up then modify them to fit

i have a friend that installed leather GK GT seats in his 96 accent with a couple of home made brackets, if he could do it in an accent i dont see the problem of fitting them in an RD
