Wideband O2 Help
Ok, for my turbo project I'm buying one these Wideband 02 Sensor Kit And I plan on mounting it at the collector of my manifold for tuning purposes. My question is: Can I just hook this up as a stand-alone unit to get readings off the gauge to tune? Or do I have to go through the ECU? I would rather keep the stock sensors where they are and leave everything be. Thanks.

just add it and leave the others, especially if you aren't planning on going standalone.
if you want to put in the extra work then many can send out narrowband as well.

I am pretty sure you are planning on mounting it too close to the manifold. I don't think your sensor will last too long that way. I have mine mounted on the downpipe, down in the area where a cat is supposed to go.
