if the honda engines have the B16a, B18c... what is ours!?

yes the BETA 2 is in the 2003 and up tiburons.....and also 2000 and up Elantras.

 

does the Beta 2 only refer to the 4-cylinder 03/04 Tiburons, or the V6 as well?

 

the V6 is called the the DELTA.

so the new tibs are :

2.0L I4 = BETA 2
2.7L V6 = Delta

ok beta 1 is in the 1996-2000 Elantras also known as the J2's
Its also in the 1997-2001 Tiburons known as the RD
2003 Tiburons have the Delta or V6's as well as the beta 2
the XD Elantra which are the 2001- up have the Beta 2 as well
the accents all have the alpha engine...
I dont know what they call the 2.4l 4cyl because they really dont come in tuner cars but bleh... ok now you have the skinny on that
