Just curious what kinds of rubber you use on your Tib, especially those who drive in the snow. Right now I'm using Dunlop Direzza's and so far they've been great.

I'm New Here, Just Picked up a 01 Tiburon, last week,, I'm in Ohio Also, So I debated on what to get.

I ended up getting Goodyear Eagle GT all Season tires.

The deal I found on them was just Way to good to pass up on.

Pretty impressed so far with the dry and wet performance, But Won't know about Snow until it hits the Ground !

I found a good deal on some Goodyear all season tires. $69 each, can't beat it. Plus their 50,000 mile tires which is 30k more than my current tires....

First of all: I'm from Europe.

I stick with "normal" brands. It largely depends on your driving: winter tires are sometimes limited to a certain maximum speed (usually around 150 km/h), which would be unacceptable for me, but I guess more than fine for someone in the US (speedlimit).

Some links to tests:

The tests were performed by the biggest "Automobilclub" in Europe, ADAC. They are in german, but the necessary info can be deduced. If not - I'll keep an automated eye on this topic

I go with 205/55R-16 General Altimax Arctic's on Nissan altima rims for the winter. Studded of course.

A bit bigger than stock, but they work perfect.

I leave my summer tires on. Yokahama S-Drives. I tried some Michelin all season tires last year and they were AWEFUL! any hint of moisture on the road and they would slide all over the place (I was NA at the time). I really should get some winter tires, but I say that every year.

I run a bit of an odd size 195/50 R15 to help prevent rubbing on lowered suspension.

Currently I'm sitting on these Khumo's simply because they were my cheapest option.

With a fairly stock engine setup I really can't complain about these tires, but I have a sneaking suspicion that they are leaving something to be desired out of my Tib's overall handling.
