Default What can I do now?

Ok... guys, I need your help and opinions of what do you think I could buy for better performance to my car.

I dont have so much money to spend, but i really want to buy something that helps me to get better performanc from my car.

I was trying to buy a Crank pulley, I but couldnt ´cause my card is from here where I live, that was the problem.

Ther other thing I was thinking to buy was the 1.8L but here we came out with teh conclusion that is not good for turbo applications... And part of the problem is that, I going turbo soon, I had a problem with the turbo and I had to take off.

I want an idea to what could i buy but for turbo application.

till now i have this

2.5 exahust and moffle, SAFC, Short ram intake.

What can you recommend me?..

thanks!

have u thought about a big bore throttle body? or the ram air intake manifold?.

both would be a good choice as they can be used with a turbo, and greatly improve performance.

or if that is still out of ur price range, what about a short throw shifter(assuming ur car is manual)? it doesnt improve performance, as far as horsepower goes, but it'll definately give u a noticable difference in ur cars overall performance.

bluetibbay, sharkev is in Guatemala, so have a little bit of leniency with his english.

Sharkev, If you are going to boost soon, don't bother buying headers.

I will second the AirRam and Big bore throttle body. They can both be used until AND once you boost and will have just that much greater of an effect once more air is being pushed through them.

ok.. thanks for answer

I forgot to tell you that my price limit is $200 maybe a little more.

I have an automatic tiburon, so, the short shifter is not good to me. lol

Mufller, my mistake.

I thought about the BG TB, but first I want to go for the cheaper way, i going to bored my stock TB to 58 mm.

But what else can I buy to get more performance from my 2.0 ,

strur bars is what I would do, won't make you go any faster but it'll help if you plan on turning while going fast! laugh.gif: You said your limit is 200, but if you had more I'd say more work on Suspension and Brakes....very important factors once your car gets into the 12 sec. range

the pulleys are a good idea along with the ram air and the BBTB, thats what i got. I know you said that it was a problem for you because of your card but im not sure why it wont work on pulleys but it will work on anything else. if companies dont take it what about going with ebay and using a money order? if you have them in guatemala. Its a tough spot we soon to be turbo people put ourselves into; not wanting to waste money on N/A mods that have to be removed with a turbo application.

you could get some new wheels that are lighter than stock, strut bars, suspension; performance isnt just measured in hp.

Since your running a T25 at really light PSI, the Air-Ram is too big for ya. I would bore out the stocker, no need on spending $600 on a manifold. Pulleys would be your best bet.

Sharkrev, if you have around a $200 limit, I would get a pully set.

I'd suggest pulley's too but he said his card is giving him trouble.
What the deal bro?
Haven't you bought stuff from the US before?
Maybe I can buy them for you and you send me money through paypal, then I'll ship them to you in Guatemala. Just an idea if you're interested.

I know some good pulleys and they're blue....I know you like blue.
