What Is This?
No, it's supposed to plug onto the throttle body, but they actually updated tibs so you don't need it. I made a thread on it once...it's also on webtech. God I can't remember the name of the switch now though. It looks exactly like the temp one Jon's talking about though...

not the thread i was looking for but the last post talks about what you found, i later made a follow up thread on JUST that, me and tibby01 (webtech guru) realized it was obsolete now and that's why most tb's are made without the prong for it to stick on. i am wanting to say it's something to do with the TCU. But anyway, it doesn't matter at all, damn I really want to find that thread now..

there;s my answer.
Cool, so can I chop it off?
Maybe I'll just leave it there for reasons stated by OzFxCoupe. lol.gif

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (JonGTR @ Feb 12 2006, 11:41 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>I think you guys are talking about the one behind the TB next to the firewall. I have that one and it looks different. The one he's showing is in front of the TB and looks exactly like the temp sensor plug.</div>
That's because I pulled the wiring up and in front of the TB so you could see it in the light (for a piture).
Like I said earlier, i found it below and behind the TB, right about where the proportioning valve is (little below it). I'll look for what it plugs into today when I'm under there. Actually goin under in like 5 minutes.. so...
Thanks faith. wink1.gif

Dood, like I said, it's supposed to connect to the TB. However, it's obsolete, our cars don't use that sensor anymore. You have a bbtb, therefore it doesn't even have the prong, you might as well either let it dangle or cut it, it doesn't do anything anyway though.
The guys telling you its something to do with the temp are wrong. This is the exact same connector and it is located in ABOUT the same area as the temp one, but it's not the same.

I have that one and I have one that is just behind my front bumper... ahh what a tangled web we have, tangled indeed.</div>
Would the one behind the bumper be for Fog lights? I know it seems kind of obvious, but I have one too.
