Ok I am really lost on this one. At first I thought that it was something running in my front left tire area causing a very

smooth grinding sound like barely touching, but then I listened to it as I was switching gears and I actually dont think it has

anything to do with my front left tire. When I am in gear and accelerating it makes the noise coming from the area of the

car, and when the car is in gear but not accelerating the noise is still constant, BUT if i switch the car into neutral and

continue to roll the sound disappears...any thoughts?

Neutral as in, shifter to "N"

OR

shifter to the middle of the aisle, clutch engaged

OR

shifter to the middle of the aisle, clutch disengaged

OR

clutch disengaged

Does it happen travelling in reverse?

If the only difference is the clutch being disengaged and out of gear, it sounds like you have some transaxle funny business.

You can:

Follow my example and drive it till it gets worse

or

tear into it.

Well I know my syncros in my second gear are wearing out, so maybe just more tranny problems I might need a whole new

one or swap it but I dont have money for all that right now, espically dropping the tranny and putting a new one on + buying

a new one.
