I have some kind of squeak/rattling noise. I know this doesn't describe it well but bear with me. It's coming for around the water pump/pulleys/timing belt. Now i took my timing belt cover off, and the belt looks in very good shape. So i'm wondering what this noise could be. When my engine is cold, it's like there is no noise, but once it gets warm it's fine. Also it seems worse when there is no load. Just thought i'd ask before i did anything.

 

Just tighten up all your belts and that should fix it. I don't think the timing belt would be the one making the noise though.

 

It's your belts. They are squeeking. Get some Belt spray from any autozone or what ever you have around you and it will fix your problem. It's from this cold weather.

 

after i had my timing belt changed, they forgot to tighten up the belt that runs generator and all that. After i tighten it up - its works fine.

 

it's not a belt squeak, i know what that sounds like, thanks though.

Like i said its a noise thats hard to describe.
