My shift knob is pretty light and I'm wondering if I got something that had more weight to it, if my shifts would be a little smoother. What type of weight do the shift knobs you guys have? Does it make a big difference or not?

 

I went with doing pushups Kidding; I've heard they help. I've never noticed a difference.

 

Have a weighted knob on the Genesis and had one on the Tib. They do make a little bit of a difference considering the stock knobs are all pretty light. Get yourself a short shifter, with a good quality knob (haha...good quality knob....) and you'll love shifting much more.

 

I dabbled with weighted knobs when I had my Speed3. TWM has a pretty good selection and I've had zero problems with their products. Just don't go too heavy with the knob.
