I love that video too, but at least around here that's not very typical of the WRX drivers. Although here the WRX isn't a popular street racing car at all. There are plenty of modded ones but they're pretty good about taking it to the track.

I wouldn't say that's a typical WRX driver... My uncle owns one that's faster than an STI and he never brags, I brag for him =)... The video was basically porn for me.

Yeah thats pretty typical out here for WRX/STI owners (kids, not peoples uncles). I do the same to them too LOL they are slow Highway cars...

since the alpine s/c etc aren't stock, and since the tibby driver is probably a sleeper and not advertising the extra boost, i'm not suprised the wrx thought he would walk all over it, because he would. i somehow don't believe that he really WAS trying, and if he was, there's something wrong with the car, since even with the extra 40-50 hp, there wouldn't be that much of a gap. maybe he saw a cop or something.

now, i'm not saying it's not pretty fast, but judging by the stock look of the car (and since a lot of tiburon drivers think their cars are fast because they have an aggresive look to them), i'm not suprised the wrx was such an trashtalker. if it were a stage 2 plus s/c, and he was pulling on an sti, i'm wave my hyundai flag nice and high, but the turbo in that thing (working at peak performance) would at least keep up with the s/c tibby.

yet another phone-camera video taken at night on the highway with some idiot teenagers rambling and cursing. not really impressive in my view
