they are the hoses coming off the intake, and a bunch more that connect to the intake manifold. just check and make sure that they are fitted properly to whatever they are connected to. dont want ANY leaks at all.

^^ Yep, most vacuum hoses just degrade over time if not cleaned regularly. Especially if the car sits for a while. Really shouldn't be too expensive to fix.

yeah, loss of power.
you see, what happens is that your MAF sensor on the intake reasd the amount of air that enters the engine and the ecu determines how much fuel based on that.
when you have air entering the engine that isnt registered by the maf, stuff gets screwed up. runs so rich that the engine can stall.

changing them is really easy. hyundai might even sell a complete hose kit. call up a dealer.
what you should do is just check things. a small leak wont cause it to stall. the opening of the leak has to be about the area of a dime to cause stalling. you should be able to notice it.
i know you've posted about it, but have you done any mods on your car?

I won't run rich, it would run lean. The air is not being read by the MAF so the ecu will not supply the extra fuel needed for the air it cannot see, I just thought I would clear that up.
