figured i would show you guys some stuff ive been working on through the summer.

Audiopipe just came out with some new tweets and mids so i wen ahead and replaced my entire front stage of my stereo with these

Audiopipe ATX-3720 300watt titanium horn tweeters

and some Audiopipe APMB-6ND dynamic loudspeakers ( 6"sub") with neo-dynium magnets nana.gif

so here is what the set up looks like now

kinda flashy i think. but they SCREAM i kept the audiobahn AT69 tweeters on the dash so now i'm running almost 900watts of draw on the front stage. and they are all 8ohm speakers so its easy on my amp cool.gif

something else i've been doing over the summer is working on getting my engine bay wire tucked. and so far i've been pretty successfull. only thing that sucked is that my overflow wouldnt stay attached so right now i'm not running one till i can figure out a better way to mount it behind the bumper.

i think on the wire tuck i'm going to get another drycell battery and get that 24f monster out of there. then i can see if i cant move the fuse box over to the hole next to the battery if i dont have to do any extending of wires.

lookin good. fing02.gif

i am planning to try a moderate tuck on my car, since im not gonna be doing any other performance mods, i misewell make it look nice.

i forgot what battery setup you a running. weren't you running a battery in the rear also for the whole audio system, and then that battery up front is pretty much for the car only?

why not look into something like this ( i am gonna pick it up for my car, so i don't have to relocate battery, but will clean up the bay)

yes the one in the back is just for the stereo and the one up front is just for starting.
thats actually exactly what i was looking at but i think i'm going to go with a kinetik which is slightly larger but its blue and i can get it through my audio shop for the lifetime warrenty and what not. but i'll just be picking up another one of theses

but i'm probably going to have to find my own mount for it.

why get a bigger battery for up front if it just controls the basics? since the way it looks like you have it setup, you can run your audio standalone from the car, which means you wouldn't need any real reserve from the main battery.

they need to come up with a new battery thats just as powerful, lasts as long and the size of 5-6 D batterys.

oh that kinetik isnt bigger then the 24f we all have its just a little bigger then that odessy you posted. i think those red odessys are nice batterys but i dont have any red anywhere else up there so i'm going to just keep the black/stock looking except for the battery which will be blue like the car!

tommarow i'm going to powder coater if i can load all the rims in my car. gonna have them look at the diffrent colors i had the wheels in and i'll show em the one you made too. see what all they have to offer for me.

OOOO.. ok.. i wasn't sure about battery size, cuz you noted it was smaller, but i noticed it was recessed in floor, which kinda made me think it might be big.

i think they make covers for the odessy batteries so you can get like blue/black/red.

can't wait to see how the wheels turn out.
