so i went to the nissan dealership and picked up some NGK v-powers like faithofdragon suggested. (they are great by the way) So as soon as i got home i put them in, and i noticed my old plugs had uneven wear. Two of them are blacked somewhat and the electrode seems to be in good shape. Now in the other two, the electrode is worn down and has a tan colored burn to it... what does that mean? New cables maybe?? (i plan on getting some NGK cables real soon) oh and the old plugs were NGK standards... any ideas?

THANKS

were the two that were black 1 and 4 and the two that were tan #2 and 3?

Or visa versa, but were they in those pairs?

Im pretty sure the tan colored ones were in #1 and #4... not 100% maybe 1 and 3... what does it mean? I'm not so sure because i was keepin them in order while pulling them then my friend picked them up so thats why im not 100%..

THANKS

Just put the vpowers in, they are a better plug so should burn off things that could potentially otherwise cause a misfire.
Check these plugs in a month or two if you want, and run a compression test if you're that worried. Possibly you have a minor case of blow by, but unless it was major, a better plug will burn it right off.
