i have a 99 automatic and i have what feels like slippage and droping down hard coming to a stop sometimes anyone else with this problem?

 

could be a "kick down servo switch",

is it still under warranty? take it to the dealer. They just put a new auto in mine 2 weeks ago. I've got 70k miles and it's an 00

yea your tranny is starting to give out
if you have the warranty by every means use it...

the warrenty just ran out in jan. how much you guys think for new one and remember i live in canada.

 

i also have a problem with it heztaing if it is parked all night. it's like i put the gas down and it sputters and it wants to stall but doesn't if i hold the gas down i can smell gas . injecters maybe? but once it warms up it's fine same with the tranny if the o d is off.

 

I would let it warm up for a minute or two before driving off... maybe just rev it while it's in park to get gas moving through... don't just turn the key on and drive off. It only happens when it's been sitting for a long period of time, right?
