I just weighed the Tib at the scales, no one in the car, she weighs 1126 kg . A little heavier than I expected.. Anyone else get weighed??

 

Isn't that lighter than it should be?

I have never weighed any of my cars, I don't even know where to go to do it.

 

Cat scale are all over the place.

I go to garbage dump. They have huge truck scales and generally willing to weigh your ride for free.



Never had the Tib weighed, but had the deuce weighed at 2434 lbs. Going to put that car on a diet.

 

last year i got my car weighted at the track. 03 GK v6 auto, half tank of gas and myself in the car. weighted 3250lbs even. so that would be 3025lbs without me in it. a lot heavier than i thought.

 

No, sounds lighter then what I've heard. I thought the RD's where in the 2800 lb range and the GK's were closer to 3200 lbs. (V6)

Mototrend specs the 1999 FX curb weight at 2,699 lbs and a 2003 GK GTV6 at 3,041



Not sure how accurate that is. I always thought my car was heavier then that.

 

my car is pretty stripped out-... I had to take 6 tires to the dump. tib-steve+6 tires= "almost right @ 2500lb" according to county dump supervisor.



not sure how much gas was in the tank.

 

I had my heavy rsx seats in , a 3/4 tank of gas and full stereo gear, I'm prob 100 lbs lighter when in track mode., btw I just drove through our local garbage dump scales ,they said sports cars come there daily for weigh ins! lol

 

oddly enough I had my car on a scale this weekend 2460lbs (actually saw the screen this time) w/ about 35lbs of crap and a half tank of gas-...
