I'm going to bid on these and want to know if everything is there that I'm going to need; also if any modifications going to be needed to fit my 2k1 Tib?

I'm not sure if you'll have to have a muffler shop add a bung for the O2 sensor or not. someone else will have to answer that. But it makes me weary when it says it fits 97-03 Tiburon and Elantra's... Can anyone verify this?

Tempting.. says it comes with both bungs for the O2 sensors.. I am just worried about that "race cat" it looks suspeciously like a "test pipe"

Just the headers alone on SharkRacing cost $400. Why would this one + the Cat cost almost 1/4 of that? I can't answer that myself but I'm always skeptical of things sold on Ebay. Usually cheap and don't actually do what they say. It will probably be better than no header at all, but I doubt it will get you as much horsepower as a good one from importshark would.

Supposedly SS autochrome has some pretty nice stuff.

... that ^ and Shark Racing's stuff is way overpriced. People have purchased from Sautochrome before and been very happy with it. I, myself, would never order from Shark Racing. Stick with ksec, hyundaiperformance, or speedstate (all .com).

Everyone I know is happy with their ssautochrome header. It has two O2 sensor bungs, one on a primary and one on the collecter. Supposedly, if you put the first O2 sensor in the primary and the second in the collecter, it will keep the CEL from coming on. Some people have had luck with this, others have not.
You are almost correct in the view of the "race cat", at least if it is like the old ones. If you look at the inside, there is some type of perforation in the walls, but it is nearly straight through. It would probably remove some noise, but that is about it. If you care about the environment, don't use that cat, if you don't care, well, use it.

Ok, thanks for the input. I'll look around for other products before I make my decision.

I'm not going to get the ebay product. Instead I may purchase this intake manifold from KSpec. $599 (s&h included)

http://www.kspec.com/largeimage.php?ai_id=577

and this OBX 4-2-1 header/cat setup from ImportShark. $280 ($26 shipping fee)

Thoughts are appreciated.

Where is the cat on that? All I see is a flex pipe and a resonator. If you don't put the second bung after your cat, you run the risk of a CEL.
