what are some mods that can be done to improve the throttle response? It seems like when i push the gas pedal down the RPM's go up but the car doesnt actually start go faster for like 2 seconds. i just wanted to know if there were any mods that can be done to improve this. and yes i do have an automatic and yes, i have been trying to find the parts to do the swap.

The Jspeed pulley or Unorthodox Racing pulley should improve throttle response for a pretty low cost and fairly easy work.

The best mod you can do for this is (SEARCH!!!)

Honestly.

CAI/BBTB/BIM/Headers/Exhaust will REALLY fix your throttle response.

Also, the pulleys, as mentioned are great for this. The throttle pulleys that come with BBTB's help out too.

There's bunches of stuff.

What you are talking about isn't throttle response though, it's lag, because of the slushbox automatic.

Yah thats what i was thinking, auto suxors.

If you were stick i would say lightweight flywheel, UD crank pulley, BBTB, and a P&P Intake manifold/airram.

So i guess i would say the same thing without the flywheel.

Hows about a tranny swap, that would help 90% of the delay

if i could find all the parts for the tranny swap i would do it. i am also thinking about just trading my car in on a 5 speed tib. that would solve my problem too.
