cyber i got the nuts you were talking about, are you sure that's still the problem?
i really am quite frustrated now, i got it towed back to my house..
i loosened them and tightened them and same result both times...started but couldnt get it to idle.
im guessing it has something to do with the vacuum line or that idle speed actuator...and im just missing something.

Did you replace the throttle body gasket or did you use the same one for both throttle bodies, The factory throttle body and the BBTB have to differant surfaces when they mate with the gasket so if you used the same gasket over again for both it will give you a large vaccumm leak that will cause you car to run bad because you are sucking in air that was not read by the MAF so the ecu will not supply fuel for the air coming in through the leak. Try a new gasket and see if that helps, if you wanna test it, make a gasket out of some cardboard and tighten it down and see if it runs better, it will only last a few minutes but but it will let you know if thats the problem. The same thing happened to me and it turned oot the throttle body gasket was the cause.

edit: i just realized something, the stock tb is sitting in front of me..and i looked on the back it doesn't even have a gasket, it's just metal there? im so confused now.......

i was trying to BUMP the topic because i still need HELP. also, they were 24 hours apart, so it was completely legal my friend.
okay update:
the TB that is currently on my car (the aftermarket one) has a gasket on it.
not sure where the stock tb gasket went off to...but that doesn't really matter because as it is it won't idle and the aftermarket tb is in (w/good gasket on it)
