Thinking About Doing This Myself...
So my timing belt is probably going to go soon....im at 68000 miles and it hasnt been changed yet...but I was wondering if it is too hard to do in the driveway over a weekend? I understand that the kit from kspec is a great value, so Ill get that, but I hate paying money to have people work on my car, especially after spending $200 on parts already. Has anyone done it themselves? How hard? How much time did it take? Also, how much have people paid in the past to have this done? Any input would be great, Graduation is coming up, and after that Ill not only have more time for the car since school is done, but also some extra money becasue my family is like that...slave away for 4 years in college, here's some money....let me know
I did mine myself a couple years ago on the black tib after the thing snapped. If I remember correctly it wasnt too hard. I got a replacement belt from I think pep boys, it wasnt that expensive.

ummm.. a timing belt is something you do NOT want to wait until it goes.. change it at the recommended limit.. the last thing you want is for it to snap..
