There was a concept for a foldaway roof GK back in 2001. The GK is heavy as it is. Extra strengthening and the parts for folding the roof would make the thing weigh close to an estate car (or station wagon to most on here)

Somebody did a Targa top on an RD back in the day. I don't have the pictures any more or know what happened to the car. Just goes to show you anything is possible.
