steering wheel stuck.
Well I was driving home today, took a right on my street then gently let go of the steering wheel and it didn't move back to center. I had to actually turn the wheel to the left to center the car out manually. I took it around the block and the same thing only on right turns. Left turns return normally. The right turn the wheel does not return. Any ideas?

did u hit any like major bumps or curbs (lol) lately? change tires? drove over something? something flew under your tib? Turn your steering wheel realy fast when it was cold (that actualy did damage one of our old cars when it was -30degrees cold)? Power steering pump is probably to blame.

/ I was going to mention that. Do you have that screeching sound that some people have from you belts??? That might be a faulty pump if you do. Only other thing I can think of is that maybe there is a blockage somewhere, you're obviously not leaking if the reservoir is full.

there is something most likely wrong with your rack and pinion. probally not your power steering pump, because if it works fine one way there should be no reason for it not to work, because the pump only makes the pressure in the lines. the rack does the turning. you probally have someing in there cloggin it up. when you the rack pumps fluid in it pushes any debree off, then on its way back gets clogged. I could be wrong but thats what i would think would cause it.
