^^no. The dae sung TPS sucks. people usually just have their MAFs on backwards. that's a quick fix. The TPS requires replacement.

Okay my TPS is a Kefico

MAF I'm still wondering where it is...

On that picture posted...
To the right of the TB on the pipe there is a small tube running to the engine,
which I presume is to create vacuum to pull oil into the head?
Then theres a larger tube on the other side running round to the
back of the IM which is attached to a Bosch gadget with some wiring running into it
Would that Bosch device be the MAF?

or

I have the standard airbox filter, and on that box just above where the air filter
lies is a little sensor inside the box, I dont see how it can be on the wrong way
as it has 2 plastic arches covering the sensor inside... and no directional arrow anywhere
Would that be the MAF?

The Bosch part is the idle air control. Basically allows air into the engine when it is idling and the throttle plate is closed.

The sensor you see in the air box is the intake air temperature sensor (IAT) which tells the ECU what the temperature of the air entering the engine is so it can add the appropriate amount of fuel.

The MAF sensor is a black hard plastic tube with wires attached to the side just above the air box. The intake air passes through this on it's way to the throttle body.

Ok so in the first pic
Blue = TPS
Red = Intake air temp
yellow = Coolant temp...me thinks??

Second pic...
Purple = Idle air control
Orange = FPR
Light blue = I think it's a secondary knock sensor

I notice that in those pics you don't have a MAF so you must be MAP based then I think..Wait until some of the more knowledgeable guys come in they can help you more....Hope this helps

TK Error,

You have the KDM version tib! So there is no MAF instead you've got MAP.
Btw, the MAP Sensor is the one circle in light blue (1ucb4u nearly had it)

Also, you've mentioned that you've got CEL error codes, eh? and they want you to pay $54 just to read it? that's crazy!

That's why having your own OBD code reader/clearer is a very sound idea, it just so happens i have some for sale (it's way cheaper that what they wanna charge you just to read the codes). Check it out: http://www.rdtiburon.com/index.php?showtopic=20072
