Default Should I change my plugs after using seafoam?

I bought a can of Seafoam and plan on pouring it in this week. Should I buy new spark plugs to put in afterwards, or can I keep using the ones that are in there. I have NGK's and they're about 5 months old.

dont see why you would need to change them after the seafoam. after the entire process is done, things should work like normal, but cleaner!

Change them only if they need changing. If anything Seafoam should clean them up a bit.

Are you doing seafoam through the intake our seafoam through the gas tank? if going through the gas tank plugs will be fine. If you are doing it through the intake/vac line (caution be very very careful or you could hydrolock your engine) then depending on the carbon build you may need to change plugs as all the nastyness will usually stick to the plug.

You would have to TRY to hydrolock an engine with Seafoam. Use IAW the label directions and you'll do fine.

Does the label give directions on how to put it in through the vac line? I know they have an online guide to doing this but I didn't think it was on the label. Anyways if you do it through the vac line the key is to only let small amounts enter at a time. don't stick your vac line in the container. That is how most people hydrolock their engines when using seafoam. They jsut stick it down like a straw and the vacuum is more then happy to suck it up in a hurry!
