Shell Vpower - Worth It?

I think reinvention would apply more to the BP Ultimate gas. Their campaign focuses on saying how good the gas is for your car without really telling you how. The pictures of this brilliant, clear fuel make you think it is great for your car.

Shell says its gas cleans intake valves and the fuel system. It also claims that it has 5 X the recommended amount of fuel detergents. If you put those two statements together, it would make sense.

Given that I am going to use it for 3000 miles, it is going to cost me approximately $10 additional for the entire 3K miles to use Vpower over regular gas. Not too bad I think.

My goal is not to gain power or save more gas. It's to reverse as much wear on the engine as possible.

V-power is just a Marketing scheme.. Remember BP's failed Advertisement on there premium gasoline? Just use Regular and every 10,000 miles use a fuel injector cleaner.
