I still wouldn't think that mattered. The desperate nature of the buyer shouldn't have anything to do with the selling practice of the business. And I'd like to think that these businesses didn't just come here to directly screw desperate buyers. Most of them started out with good intentions. They just got in over their head for various reasons.

ugh...don't remind me of African companies...I just recently paid off my bankruptcy of 90K caused by Alpine. Not too mention LC Engineering in AZ still has my dyno..

SFR took my $50 deposit for a tune on the Tib but wouldn't refund it even though they forgot their Tib tuning equipment. They won't get a cent from me and I'll drag their name through the mud every chance I get.
