Safe Jacking Points?

nope, this part of the rail area is not too safe. it bends. you gotta put it near where your fender meets the door., at the bottom of that area is straight metal, very strong.

yea, that look about rite but it might be different for the jetta.
when i jacked up the car on the spot u had on the first pic, i bent the metal rail and it sort of pushed my stock sideskirts a bit inwards.

K_r....you have the jackstands on the floorpan. i can see it bending the sideskirt. you should atleast use the rails, they might bend a tiny bit but they are safe. enough pressure on that one in the picture and im pretty sure the jackstand could rip right through the floor.

i always put the jack stand on the "frame rail" one on both side under the car ? is it a bad place ?
for the little jack oem that is in the trunk i use the point they say. but for the jack stand i always use the "frame rail" if you can call it that way :S
