Just came into ownership of a second hand (still in the packaging though) rs type short shifter. from here

Unfortunately it came with no instructions for fitting and it doesnt look much like the r side so its difficult to follow the diy.

So my question is has anyone installed one? if so do you have the instructions anywhere you could e mail me?

by the looks of it, yes

but i'm sure the theory of doing the install is exactly the same...

just make sure you put all the little parts back in the correct order

 

What year is your Coupe? The shifter that is pictured on the website is totally different than the one for the 96-01 Tiburon. Are you sure it will even fit your car?

 

BTW, Yeovilsteve fill in the year of your Tibby in profile.

:The shifter won't fit your car, at all. It's for a 2003 and up. Might wanna let them know that.

They also can't spell TIBURON correctly.

matt from the ukhcc sold it to me as he said it doesnt fit his gen 3 and it was for a gen 2. I guess he was mistaken. Nevermind, he bought it off e bay in the uk so at least he didnt pay shipping from the states.
