I tried to search and came up with nothing. Anyway my car has had a really rough idle lately and I was wondering what I could do to help this. My mods are: MBRP exhaust, headers, aem cai, bbtb. I have the voltage stabalizer from the BG and i thought that would help but it didnt. Hopefully you guys can help me out

how long do you have rough idle?

if you press accelerator slightly (let's say so that engine run on 800-900 rpm) does it run ok?

I had the same problem last week and I thought about cleaning the TPS connector (plug) with some electrical connector cleaning spray, and with the advise and help of a friend I did it and not only cleaned that, but also the plug of the idle motor (behind the IM, where the big hose is connected). I also took out the idle motor (or bypass valve I think it's called) and cleaned the holes with carb cleaner.
You wouldn't beleive how good it idles now, it idles like a champ, steady at 800 rpm.
Also, a lot of black dirt came out of that little valve, I think it's exhaust gases deposits. My friend is a mechanic at the Hyundai dealer locally, so he new where to start...

As soon as I come to a stop, the wheel shakes and the idle goes back and forth about 100 rpm. if i turn the wheel and activate power steering, it gets rougher. same with windows. when i give it a little gas its all better. could it maybe be i need a bigger alternator? i am running 2 batteries

Why do you have 2 batteries?

stock alternator can be too small to charge 2 batteries simultoniuos.

And it's ok when you open/close windows, turn steering wheel at idle - rpm can go up and down. It's ok.
