I would take the fender off and tap it out lightly with a rubber mallet. Then see how it looks, but you risk cracking the paint if it isn't already. If it is already cracked then do it anyways then get a shop to finish it.

the paint isnt chipped yet, maybe ill give it a try, definitely a possibility, thanks for the input

Warm it up with a hair dryer first especially if the ambient temp. is low. Banging on finished paint when it's cold is a good way to *start* some cracks.
