I don't know where exactly to post this, so feel free to move this somewhere else. I want to put an AEM intake in my car, but unfortunately I have the dreaded Revision A. Could somebody post a DIY, or direct me to a DIY for canister removal? Also, if I just remove it, will this hurt my car? I like modding as much as the next guy, but this car has to last me a few more years yet. Thanks.

Thanks Red.

If I have the chance and run into a Rev A, I will do a FULL writeup on it. I know everyone loves mine, they are easy to follow.

Blacktibs himself did this mod and can answer any questions you have. It's easy to do, it won't hurt your car at all, and it'll make a BUNCH more space and options for you.

Default Who has Ground Control Coilovers on thier car

Has anyone here done this on a 1.8L auto? The AEM intake says that it is for a 2.0L only. Just wondering if this is because most 1.8L cars that I see are revision A. Thanks.

Is the auto tranny in the way? Can't do a CAI in the traditional route for the auto Accent cause the transmission is in the way.

I'm pretty sure the 1996 Elantra is a 1.8L.
