Anybody know much about are reverse lights setup?? I'm trying to get all the electrical stuff fixed on my RD2 and the reverse lights do not come on. I'm considering a toggle switch if I can't make them work right.

There's a switch on the transmission that controls it.

Did you check the bulbs? They might have burned out. It is also a good idea to check the fuse. I think those two items are more likely the problem than the switch itself.

can anything go bad with the switch? Is this what your talking about in the pic below when you say switch? Notice pink and black wires are pointing at it but not connected. These should be connected right?

checked/replaced the bulbs and fuses already, i just wasn't getting any power to the reverse lights at all

that would most likely be the problem.

That is the switch. It could go bad or one of the wires may be bad.

wires were pulled out because the jackass mechanic that replaced the core support also cut out half the quarter panel (driverside) and the harness routes through it so that was all replaced with the quarter panel and they did a hack job leaving many problems. I took my tib back in the middle of work because they I realized how bad they were gonna screw up my car. That's what I get for trying to get someone else to do things tho.
