can someone explain this? i know there's one bolt on the top, this will allow it to pivot, then where are other bolts? sizes? once i get the bolts off, what else do i worry about, aren't there some clips?

There is a 14mm on the bottom remove that, along with the clip on the side toward the exhaust along with the 10mm that hold the thick wire that charges the battery that is it.
You may also have to remove the oil filter to get it out.

edit: got it, thanks Tim. really i just had to wiggle it more, I thought it was attached, and it wasn't. that oil filter was a b**** tho, oil everywhere and then tryin to get the alternator off...if i had a cam id write a diy for this, if you don't know what you are doing its a PITA.
