Has anyone installed Racing harnesses with the stock seats in an 01 Tiburon. I was trying to figure out where everything would connect.
Also would the centerbar from Kspec work as rollbar mounting point.
Any pics or suggestions would be great....I was going to do 4 points

Yes, plenty of folks have. It would be the same in any RD Tib. Ask Blacktibs for info on where he mounted his.
No, the centerbar wouldn't work as a mounting point for anything.

He doesn't have a back seat though...i still would like to use the back seat.
I was thinking either where the rear seat belt or maybe my rear strut bar...or the center bar with eye bolts welded to it.
I don't know...maybe sparco will make that new thing for our car that goes where your stock seat belt does.

Ya didn't specify. LOL Ask Canadianshark, I think he's got harnesses and the rear seats.

Best bet would be to use the current seatbelt bolt mounts.

Just adding an FYI:
You shouldn't mount any shoulder harness behind the seat lower than a 45 angle. It could compress your spine in an accident. So the center bar won't work. I don't even think it's sturdy enough to do the job. Mount the shoulder straps further back.
Lots of people use rear strutbars.

I have them, with stock seats and they work really well, for the shoulders you mount to the rear seatbelt, which is still useable, for the sides I used one of the exiting seatbelt bolts and for the other I used the seat mount, when you remove the original seatbelts I got a nice AIR BAG light because of removing them it would have been nice to known previouslly but I wanted to remove that excess weight lmao.gif
A harness should not be installed in a car that is not equiped with roll bars or a roll cage. Teh reason is simple, in a roll over sotuation, the roof will crush your spine. with conventional seat belts, you would fall to the side but with a harness, you can't move sideways so the roof will crush you.
You cannot install them on a normal car safely. A seat belt is design to save your life. If it's not installe dright, it won't do it's jod and have no purpose.
The basic rules are :
-Shoulder straps should be mounted no more than +/-10deg from horizontal (so using the rear seat belt holes is ruled out)
- The straps should be tied to roll bar/cage and/or eye bolts mounted with "sandwich" plates on the floor.
- A strut bar is not strong enough
- You can't use the factory seat holes
