I like the single stripe and the red tib but for opinion on stripes: don't like them. I prefer the sleek and sleeper look and stripes are a total opposite. But if you like'm go for it....

They can look good, but they are usually just applied thoughtlessly

Depends on the colors.
Blue with white stripes - OK
Yellow with black stripes - OK
Red with white stripes - OK
Blue with black stripes - poor
Silver with black or other stripes - poor
Probably black cars with white stripes are also good.
I think it is easier to recognize the cars on road with the right colored stripes but I wouldn't put it on my car without having 200+ HP in the engine (Europe).

from the pics you posted, the single one looks nice as does the yellow with black...i like how they go with the line of the hood....its definitely hit or miss though, especially on a tib
